The Chyron system was located in the Har Worlds sector of the Expansion Region, situated in grid square J-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It lay on the Great Gran Run hyperspace route, which linked it to the Noe'ha'on system[2] as well as the Mid Rim Territories' Travyx system.[3] The Chyron system shared its name with the Battle of Chyron Belt.[4]
Behind the scenes
The Chyron system was first mentioned in a galaxy map[5] designed by Christopher Ibbitt[6] that was created for the reference book Star Wars: Timelines and given out as a promotional poster at Celebration Anaheim[7] on May 27, 2022[8] prior to the book's release during Celebration Europe[9] of April 7 through 10, 2023.[10] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map article on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[11]
