A stronghold that was ancient[1] by 3646 BBY[2] was occupied by a small sect consisting of members of the Chevin[1] species.[3]
By that year,[2] an individual affiliated with one of the two opposing governments in the ongoing struggle between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire had a companion follow the Chevin pilgrims on a pilgrimage to a blue sun to learn their history. The Chevin welcomed the companion and at the end of the pilgrimage showed them into their stronghold. There, the sect instructed the companion in the ways of their idol and offered aid.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Chevin stronghold is mentioned in Star Wars: The Old Republic in the Archaeology Crew Skill mission "Pilgrimage," though the information regarding the mission's outcome was later removed from the video game.[1]

- ↑ 2.0 2.1 Per the reasoning here, Act I of Star Wars: The Old Republic takes place around 3643 BBY. Since players of The Old Republic can assign their companions on the mission "Pilgrimage" independently of the main class storyline at any point during the game, the mission must take place at some point around 3643 BBY.
