Chempat Engineered Defenses, sometimes identified as Chepat,[2] was a starship technology manufacturing corporation, specializing in the development and sale of shipboard deflector shield projectors and sensors. Chempat was jointly owned by the Corellian Engineering Corporation and Kuat Drive Yards.[1]
