Chav tea was a type of tea.[2] On one occasion when Chewbacca, Han Solo, and Hondo Ohnaka were staging a fight on the moon Dhandu 3, Ohnaka shoved Solo too hard into a table and sent a plate of glowblue noodles and chav flying into a group of Pakiphantos.[1] The tea was served at Gesh's Tapcafe in Jedha City on the moon Jedha.[2] In the year 1 BBY,[3] the Decraniated servants working at the tapcafe served freshly brewed chav tea and other libations to boisterous off-duty Imperials stationed in the city to keep them entertained.[2]
Behind the scenes
Chav tea first appeared in the new Star Wars canon as a prop in the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which was released in North America on December 16, 2016. The tea was not identified in the film,[4] but received a name in the accompanying reference book Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo and released the same day as the film.[2]
