"Wait-aren't you the princess? How did you wind up flying here on that old barge?"
"They were headed this way. And yes, I'm Leia Organa."
"Chassellon Stevis of Coruscant. My mother heads our diplomatic legation, as you probably know-and now you and I follow our parents into the family business."
―Chassellon's first meeting with Leia Organa[1]

Chassellon Stevis was a human male from the planet Coruscant and whose mother was head of the Coruscant diplomatic legation.[1] In 3 BBY,[3] Stevis was a part of the Apprentice Legislature and was in the same pathfinding class as Leia Organa. During the first pathfinding class Stevis' fellow Apprentice Legislator Harp Allor hurt her ankle and Stevis decided to leave her behind so that he wouldn't get kicked out of the class.[1]

However when Stevis returned to the pathfinding chalet he saw that Harp was already there drinking mocoa with Organa and the other students who stayed behind to help her. Stevis was then reprimanded by by Chief Pangie for abandoning Harp.[1]

Stevis continued to serve alongside Organa in the Apprentice Legislature, including a visit to the Emperor's Museum, and agreed to remain silent when he saw Organa suspiciously trying to gain passage off Coruscant on the ship Mighty Oak Apocalypse which previously Stevis had been attempting to hire to take him to a speeder auction on Arkanis. Stevis later attended the ceremony which saw Organa officially invested as crown princess of Alderaan and winked at her as she passed. Also in attendance was another Apprentice Legislator Amilyn Holdo of Gatalenta.[1]

He was rather arrogant, which Organa and her father noted was a common Coruscanti trait. He also had an interest in buying and refurbishing antique speeders which caused Organa to realize that he had more patience than she thought.[1]
