- "The Clone Wars. A tragedy such as has rarely been seen before, and thankfully never will again. Count Dooku of Serenno led the Separatist faction away from the faltering Republic. Although he acted out of craven ambition, with disregard for the billions of lives that would be lost. Dooku was correct about one thing. The Republic had indeed become rotten at its core, no longer governed by law, order, and discipline. Had the Senate chosen a different chancellor after the deposition of the weak, ineffectual Valorum, galactic order itself might have fallen apart. But the times we live through create the heroes we need."
- ―The docent of the Emperor's Museum addressing the Apprentice Legislature tour
The Emperor's Museum was a museum on Coruscant, dedicated to Emperor Palpatine and also had a display on the Clone Wars and Palpatine's upbringing on Naboo titled "From Humble Beginnings". Whilst a part of the Apprentice Legislature, Leia Organa and several other members were given a tour of the museum in 3 BBY though it saddened her to see real footage and false history. An inaugural portrait of Palpatine was also shown to the group and Leia wondered what the point was of making him appear benevolent when in reality he was doing everything that proved he was cruel and a warmonger.[1]
