Cave troopers were a type of specialized stormtrooper. They wore scout trooper armor and carried blaster carbines, as well as oversized vibroknives. Cave troopers were also equipped with low-light vision gear to help them see in darkness and rappelling cables.[1]

Behind the scenes

Cave troopers were first mentioned in the 2019 Fantasy Flight Games canon roleplaying game supplement Allies and Adversaries.[1] The cave troopers were originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity in the 2015 Fantasy Flight Games roleplaying game adventure, Hidden Depths.[2]
