Carrion serpents were a type of serpent that lived on the Galactic Frontier planet Tiikae and fed on carcasses.[1] In 231 BBY,[2] after encountering Nihil pirates on Tiikae, Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh asked Jordanna Sparkburn—the San Tekka clan deputy on the world—what they would do with the Nihil's dead bodies. In response, Sparkburn told her to leave them for the carrion serpents, before they left for Sparkburn's settlement.[1]
Behind the scenes
Carrion serpents were mentioned in the 2021 young-adult novel The High Republic: Out of the Shadows, written by Justina Ireland and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[3]
