Carrandar Secundus was a terrestrial astronomical object located in the Carrandar Secundus system of the Outer Rim Territories' Portmoak sector.[1] The Galactic Empire destroyed a nest in the system around five years before the Battle of Yavin. News about the nest's destruction was published and Merei Spanjaf, a young Human living on the planet Lothal, read about the destruction on her datapad's newsfeed.[2]
