The Calcoraan system was a star system in the Inner Rim Territories[2] which contained the desolate planet Calcoraan. During the early years of the Galactic Empire's reign, the space station Calcoraan Depot was also located in the system and was owned by the industrialist Denetrius Vidian. When Vidian was sent to the Gorse system to increase efficiency of thorilide mining in the system he sent a convoy of starships to Calcoraan system to collect explosives from Calcoraan Depot so that he could destroy the moon Cynda.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Calcoraan system first appeared in the novel A New Dawn, which was written by John Jackson Miller and released in 2014.
