Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

This male was the grandfather of the krill farmer Caben. He lived with a tribe in a village on Sorgan prior to the fall of the Galactic Empire. Along with his wife, he was among the farmers who first seeded the ponds to attract the krill that sustained the village. Generations later, Caben continued to work as a krill farmer in the village.[1] By circa 9 ABY,[2] when The Mandalorian and Carasynthia Dune urged the tribe to abandon the village due to attacks by a Klatooinian tribe, Caben insisted they could not leave, evoking the memory of his grandfather seeding the krill ponds years prior.[1]

Caben's grandfather was mentioned in Chapter 4: Sanctuary,[1] the fourth episode of the first season of the television series Star Wars: The Mandalorian, which aired on November 29, 2019 exclusively on Disney+.[3]
