The CZ-198 system was located in the Unknown Regions in grid square H-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
The CZ-198 system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[2] Although "Star Systems of the Galaxy" initially placed the CZ-198 system in grid square G-6,[1] the October 14, 2025[3] update to the appendix changed its grid square to H-5.[1]
The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity as the moon CZ-198, which was introduced in the August 6, 2013 Game Update 2.3 of Star Wars: The Old Republic, a 2011 video game[4] developed by BioWare.[5] Prior to the release of the update featuring CZ-198, it went live on the game's Public Test Server on June 28 of the same year,[6] and screenshots showcasing the moon were also published on the game's official website on the same day.[7]
