The CR25 troop carrier[1] was a troop transport utilized by the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. It was able to carry newly constructed vehicles from their factories and ferry them to a nearby landing pad for deployment. The Tatooine rebel cell under the command of Colonel Jennica Pierce, Saponza, and Saponza's partner utilized CR25 troop carriers during the Battle for Tatooine.[2]

Behind the scenes

The CR25 troop carrier appears in Star Wars Canon in the 2014 mobile game Star Wars: Commander. It is based off of the CR25 troop carrier in the Star Wars Legends video game Star Wars: Republic Commando.
