CC-4M was a white loadlifter droid[1] with masculine programming[2] and fabric dust shroud on its left shoulder[1] that was forced to work in the criminal Pyke Syndicate's spice mines on the planet Kessel during the reign of the Galactic Empire.[3] Before coming to Kessel, he was the leader of a team of construction droids on an ice moon. He missed his friends from his old team while he was forced to work in the mines on Kessel.[2] In 10 BBY,[4] CC-4M was freed from slavery when its restraining bolt was removed during a slave revolt in the mines started by the droid L3-37.[3]
Behind the scenes
CC-4M first appeared in the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story[3] and was first identified in the accompanying reference book Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
