Burundang was a terrestrial astronomical object[2] in the Burundang system in the Harron sector of the Expansion Region[1] where Han Solo bought a play blaster for his son Ben Solo. However, Leia Organa did not approve of the purchase, telling Solo that the blaster was too violent to be an appropriate children's toy.[3]
Behind the scenes
Burundang was first mentioned in the 2018 novel Last Shot, written by Daniel José Older.[3] The original solicitation for the 2021 comic book The High Republic Adventures (2021) 5, also written by Older, stated that the issue's plot involved a Nihil attack on Burundang.[4] However, the final issue takes place largely on Quantxi, a moon of Ord Mantell, and has no mention of Burundang.[5]
