Brixians were a sentient species[1] that originated from the Brix system.[3] The Butcher of Brix was a member of this species.[4]

Biology and appearance

Brixians possessed black, chitinous skin with a white-fronted torso that had a red strip down the middle. They also had four red eyes and spider-like mandibles.[2]

Species in the galaxy

One member of this species known as the Butcher of Brix[4] was present on the planet Daiyu during the reign of the Galactic Empire[5] in 9 BBY.[6] The Butcher stood with two humans in one of Daiyu's streets when the spice dealer Tetha Grig offered spice to the Jedi-in-hiding Obi-Wan Kenobi nearby.[5] Later, in 34 ABY, the Butcher of Brix was a patron of[1] the Canto Casino in the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica.[7] The warlord was stood at one of the casino's gambling tables beside a Namara in a white dress when the Resistance agents Finn, Rose Tico, and BB-8 entered the establishment while searching for the Master Codebreaker. The Butcher was then stood by a different table with fellow patron[1] Snook Uccorfay[7] when the drunken patron Dobbu Scay accosted BB-8.[1]

Behind the scenes

"The warlord had two very beautiful ladies by his side, all the time. He's fully animatronic; there's no performer in him. Super-slime dripping from his mouth, caught in a glass very delicately by a lady."
