Brian Herring is an English puppeteer and actor who performed BB-8, the porgs, fathiers, and numerous other creatures and droids in the sequel trilogy. He appeared alongside fellow BB-8 puppeteer Dave Chapman as a Resistance Officer in Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. He also worked as a creature and droid performer (including SE-2) in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and played Hirang Birren in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
