Bravo 3 was a pilot callsign used within Bravo Squadron, an N-1 starfighter squadron within the Space Fighter Corps of the Royal Naboo Security Forces that served the Monarch of Naboo. During the Battle of Naboo[1] in 32 BBY,[2] Arven Wendik[3] flew under the callsign, taking part in the attack on the Trade Federation Lucrehulk-class Battleship Vuutun Palaa and ultimately surviving the battle.[1]
Behind the scenes
The callsign Bravo 3 was first used in the 1999 prequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. The callsign is not spoken in the film but is listed in the credits for Wendik's actor, Clarence Smith, who is listed as "Fighter Pilot Bravo 3."[1]
