The Bratric were a species mentioned by Jod Na Nawood when introducing the younglings Wim, Neel, KB, and Fern while they were disguised as the "Wise Elders" in order to gain entry to the Skull Ridge Mountain Hotel & Spa. According to Na Nawood the Bratric physiology did not allow them to speak or understand Galactic Basic. In order to reinforce this, the group spoke gibberish to each other while around the Lanupa hotelier.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Bratrics were first mentioned in "You Have a Lot to Learn About Pirates," the fifth episode of the Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, which aired on December 24, 2024.[1] According to the episode's subtitles the crew speaks gibberish when the impersonating the Bratric Wise Elders however the episode doesn't specify if Bratrics were a real species in the galaxy or entirely made up as part of the crew's con.
