The Bormter system was located in Wild Space in grid square H-14 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Bormter system was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[2] The system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity as the "Svekk" system in "The Galaxy Dragon and crew," an article written by Bill Slavicsek and published in the 200th issue of Dragon Magazine in December 1993 for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The article is considered noncanonical with respect to Legends.[4] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas later identified the canonical Legends system as the Bormter system.[5]
