The Bonadan Embassy was the embassy[1] of the Outer Rim planet Bonadan[2] on the planet Coruscant, capital of the Galactic Republic. The embassy was located at the top of a tower in the upscale Federal District of Coruscant's Galactic City.[1] In 22 BBY,[3] the Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi passed near the building and nearly collided with the joyrider Magaloof while holding on to the assassin droid ASN-121 after the droid had just unsuccessfully attempted to assassinate Senator Padmé Amidala.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Bonadan Embassy was mentioned in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations. It was part of material reprinted[1] from the embassy's first mention in the Star Wars Legends continuity: the 2003 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, which was written by Curtis Saxton and Simon Beecroft, and illustrated by Richard Chasemore and Hans Jenssen.[4]
