The Boiyuh system was located in the intersection of the Colonies[1] and the Interior regions,[2] situated at the coordinates J-9 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It contained the planet Boiyuh, the homeworld of the human[3] twins Lyttan and Tamu Dree. Facing starvation on Boiyuh, the twins left the system to join the Galactic Empire[4] by 10 BBY.[5]
Behind the scenes
The Boiyuh system was first introduced when it was marked on a map[6] designed by Christopher Ibbitt[7] for the reference book Star Wars: Timelines and first released as a promotional poster at Celebration Anaheim[8] on May 27, 2022[9] before the book's debut, during Celebration Europe[10] on April 7-10 of 2023.[11] The system was identified in the appendix "Star Systems of the Galaxy," published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map article on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[12]
