The Biitu system was a star system located in the Tadrin subsector of the Cassander sector of the galaxy's Outer Rim[1] that contained at least two planets, including Biitu, the homeworld of the sentient Biituian species.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Biitu system first appeared, albeit unidentified, in "The Great Heep," a television movie that aired as part of the Star Wars: Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO animated series,[3] which originally aired on June 7, 1986.[4] It was later identified in The Essential Atlas, a reference book written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace[5] and released on August 18, 2009,[6] which placed the system in grid square K-5.[5]
