Bhuna Sound was a Mid Rim planet which joined the New Republic shortly after the Battle of Endor. To help in the planet's rebuilding efforts, the New Republic sent a freighter, the Dewback's Burden, to bring supplies to Bhuna Sound. However, the vessel was attacked by the TIE Pirates, who captured the transport.
