In 3 ABY,[2] the scoundrel Kay Vess visited the junkyard at least twice. Once to locate someone that could install a laser turret to her EML-850 light freighter, the Trailblazer. A mechanic at the junkyard directed Vess towards a Jawa named Entip in the South Jundland Wastes. During another visit, Vess spoke to a Weequay engineer about their grandfather's surveying notes about the Mos Algo mine.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Bestine junkyard first appeared in canon in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The location was identified in the "The Hotfixer" and "Repulsor Train" quests.[1]
