The Berrun system was a star system located within the Colonies region of the galaxy[1] that contained the planet Berrun.[3] Berrun was host to a Republic detention center during the Cold War with the Sith Empire,[4] and the system hosted the Galactic Games sporting event in 33 BBY.[3]

Behind the scenes

Berrun was first mentioned in Jude Watson's young reader novel Jedi Quest: The Dangerous Games, published in 2002, but no information on the planet's placement was given in the book.[3] It was not until 2009's The Essential Atlas identified the Berrun system as being located in the Colonies that the planet was given a location.[1]
