Berclan was an individual who flew as a pilot for the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Battle of Endor in the Endor system.[2] In 4 ABY,[1] as the second Death Star was about to explode, Berclan and several pilots attempted to escape the inevitable shockwave the space station would create. As they flew, Berclan rejoiced in triumph on the comms of their ship only for their ship to be destroyed moments later with the comm channel turning to static. Ca Isiora, one of the pilots flying with Berclan, compressed her sadness on their death and remembered to celebrate after the battle was over. The Death Star was subsequently destroyed with Isiora making it to safety.[2]

Behind the scenes

Berclan's voice appeared in "Galactic Tales: Shockwave," the fifth installment of the Galactic Tales short story series. The story was written by Alexander Freed and published in the 220th issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine[2] on August 15, 2023.[3]
