Bendine was a starship manufacturing company that produced the capsule-shaped XR12 spacecraft. Bendine was active during the time of the Galactic Republic, and one such XR12, the Satellite Liberator ended up with the Toydarian junk dealer Watto in the settlement of Mos Espa on Tatooine.[2]
In 5 BBY, the mechanic and black market dealer Bix Caleen came to Repaak Salyard and asked for a Bendine Mesh-Tech filter, a secret code-phrase to access a hidden junction box located in the shop.[1]
