The Battrach were a sentient species in the galaxy. During the High Republic Era, Jedi Knight Keeve Trennis claimed to have talked to a male Battrach gunrunner at Port Lennax when infiltrating the Nihil.[1]

The Battrach in Star Wars Legends
The Battrach were first canonically mentioned in the tenth issue of the comic series Star Wars: The High Republic, written by Cavan Scott and illustrated by Georges Jeanty as part of the multimedia project of the same name[1] and published on October 20, 2021.[2] The Battrach originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity via the unlicensed roleplaying adventure "Flight of the Jedi," which was published in the nineteenth and twentieth issues of Valkyrie magazine. In the adventure, they were a species of bioengineered amphibians.[3]
