The Barma sector was a sector in the Colonies.[1] The New Republic's Barma Battle Group was based in the sector, led by General Hera Syndulla. The sector had lacked a Imperial leader who could consolidate the sector's forces, giving the New Republic an opportunity to retake territory.[2]
