Barlon Hightower was a male pilot in the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Hightower was recruited by Wedge Antilles into the rebuilt Red Squadron following the Battle of Hoth. He was killed in an attack on a nearby pirate base, that threatened the safety of the Alliance's rendezvous point, where he was assigned the callsign Red Ten and flew a T-65B X-wing starfighter as Lieutenant Wes Janson's wingman.[2]
