Barkhesh was a planet[3] located in the Barkhesh system of the Seitia sector within the Outer Rim Territories[1] and Western Reaches.[2] It was located in grid square K-19 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] Barkhesh was the homeworld of the human Antidar Williams, a Galactic Republic Judicial who perished in the Naboo system in 32 BBY.[3]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Barkhesh was mentioned in "The Heroes of Naboo and Other Characters of the Galaxy," part of De Agostini's Star Wars Encyclopedia series[3] which was published on August 19, 2022.[4] Barkhesh originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in an installment of "Scouts' Dispatch," a series of Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game articles written by Peter Woodworth and published by West End Games in the Star Wars Adventure Journal. The installment was included in the May 1995 sixth issue of the magazine.[5] The planet then first appeared in the 1998 Factor 5 video game, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron.[6]
