- ―Lys Solay, to Nubs

The Pooba's heroic act depicted on a wall
During or before the High Republic Era, Barabo arrived in a town that had been threatened by a ferocious winged creature, a chirodactyl. The Jedi drove the beast away and saved the town. Later, a wall sculpture was built to honor the Pooba and several other Jedi. An image of Barabo holding their lightsaber was carved into wall above three smaller images depicting how the Jedi had saved the town. The Jedi's lightsaber was placed in a hidden room behind the wall sculpture.[1]
In 232 BBY,[2] three Jedi Initiates, the human Kai Brightstar, the Pantoran Lys Solay and the Pooba Nubs, discovered the wall sculptures. Solay noted that the Jedi had been a Pooba, like Nubs. While Solay told the story that was depicted, Nubs leaned against the wall and a hidden door opened, leading the Younglings into a small room. Inside the room was an altar displaying Barabo's lightsaber. Nubs took the lightsaber and Brightstar suggested asking Grand Master Yoda about it.[1]
