Ballista

A ballista was a primitive but effective weapon that fired heavy bolts with ropes at distant targets.^[2] The weapon was used by the Tusken Raiders of Tatooine. Members of a Tusken tribe used the ballista in an effort with the citizens of Freetown, Marshal Cobb Vanth, and Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin to kill a greater krayt dragon. The bolts were able to pierce the krayt dragon's hide, but the Tuskens and citizens of Freetown were unable to hold the creature down with the ropes. However, Djarin was able to kill it.^[1]
