- "Come to think of it, what are you doing here? The schedule said Dooku's tied up in conference with some muckety-muck from Badtibira for another few hours."
- ―Rael Averross to Qui-Gon Jinn
Badtibira was a location[3] in the Badtibira system of the Core Worlds[1] and the Interior,[2] situated in grid square K-12 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] In 67 BBY,[4] Jedi Master Dooku spent time negotiating with individuals from Badtibira in conferences. While Dooku was away, Dooku's former Padawan, the Jedi Knight Rael Averross, visited his Master's current student Qui-Gon Jinn in the former's Jedi Temple quarters. Surprised to see Jinn was not assisting his Master with the Badtibira dealings, Averross took the opportunity to introduce the Padawan to the holocron of prophecy.[3]
Behind the scenes
Badtibira was mentioned in a flashback in Master & Apprentice, a 2019 novel written by Claudia Gray.[3]
