The Badlands was a podracing track on Tatooine. The terrain was very hazardous for podracers. The track favorite as of 24 BBY was Gasgano.
The course put the racers in a path with dangerous obstacles, such as a sandcrawler, several vaporators, and large rocks. The steep dropoff usually resulted in podracer combat. The sharp turns made smooth navigation difficult.
