Bacta grenades were grenades that released a mist of bacta upon impact that healed those within range. They were carried by clone medics during the Clone Wars.[1]

Behind the scenes

Bacta grenades first appeared in Star Wars Galaxies, a Star Wars Legends MMORPG developed by Sony Online Entertainment[2] that was released on June 26, 2003[3] and shut down on December 15, 2011,[4] where they were added to the game as part of the 2005 New Game Enhancements as a long-range healing ability for the medic class.[2] They became canon when they appeared in Star Wars Journeys: Beginnings, a mobile game developed by Disney Interactive that was released on iOS devices in 2014.[1]
