The BT-009S fastshot trigger was an blaster trigger that was illegally modified to reduce the amount of force or movement required to shoot.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] a group of pirates had stored a fastshot trigger in a cavern inside of Typhon's Rock, a rock mound in the Lost Steppe region on the moon Toshara, located in the Outer Rim Territories.[1]

In 3 ABY,[2] the scoundrel Kay Vess heard about the fastshot trigger stored at Typhon's Rock. She later went to the cavern and retrieved the trigger and used it to the modify her VM-19 heavy blaster pistol.[1]

Behind the scenes

BT-009S fastshot trigger appeared in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws. The player must obtain the trigger in order upgrade the light plasma module to level four.[1]
