The BFF-1 bulk freighter was a class of bulk freighter active during the Imperial Era that was used to transport quantities of goods that required more careful handling. Because of the BFF-1 bulk freighter and similar transports, essentials and luxury goods were transported to every corner of the galaxy.[1] During the Galactic Civil War, BFF-1 bulk freighters were used by the Galactic Empire, with several docking at the Remitik system munitions depot. Others were used by civilians at Fostar Haven.[2] In 3 ABY[4], the Ashiga Clan and Crimson Dawn made use of these freighters.[3]
