The Axis desk was an investigative desk opened by the Imperial Security Bureau's Investigations branch to focus on movements of a rebel leader that the bureau dubbed "Axis".[1] Originally run by ISB Supervisor Dedra Meero of the ISB Board in 4 BBY,[2] it was later handed off to Supervisor Avril Heert, Meero's former aid turned fellow member of the board, who ran it during 3 BBY. In the same year, Heert took an interest in some of the weapons recovered from a number of raids the ISB had conducted in Supervisor Lagret's sector.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Axis desk was mentioned in the second season of the live-action series Star Wars: Andor. It was first indirectly mentioned in the season's second episode "Sagrona Teema" when Meero was transfered from working it to working on the ISB's Ghorman project.[2] It was later identified as the Axis Desk in the season's fourth episode, "Ever Been to Ghorman?."[1]
