Axaleem^[2] was a sentient species in the galaxy. Papa Toren was a member of the species.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Axaleem, albeit unidentified, first appeared in the first issue of the comic book miniseries Star Wars: Lando, which was written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Alex Maleev,^[1] and published by Marvel Comics on July 8, 2015.^[3] The species later got identified in the 2024 Dorling Kindersley reference book Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy, which was authored by Dan Brooks, Megan Crouse, Amy Richau, Amy Ratcliffe, Brandon Wainerdi, Dan Zehr, and Kelly Knox.^[2]
