―Ax Tagrin and Norath Kev[2]

Ax Tagrin was a male Iktotchi bounty hunter active during the First Order-Resistance War. During the War, Tagrin found work from the First Order by capturing members of the Resistance since he believed in getting employed by the winning side.[2]

Biography

During the war between the Resistance and the First Order, Iktotchi bounty hunter Ax Tagrin found himself hunting down Resistance spy Norath Kev and his droid 2BR-NTB when he got a tip from Lechee, a contact of the First Order who moved their shipments and materials through the channels of the black market. After a pursuit in Vargo Spaceport on Varkana, the spy got caught and 2BR-NTB got destroyed. Leeche informed Tagrin caught members of Team Colossus fellow Resistance spy Kazuda Xiono, Jarek Yeager, Synara San, and Xiono's droid CB-23 in Kev's apartment but they manage to destroy Kev's datapad and escape. Later in the same spaceport, Tagrin manage to trap most of them by trapping them in his ship, the Dalkor Dagger.[2]

Due to CB-23 sabotaging one of the ship's engines, the Dalkor Dagger crashed back onto Varkana before Tagrin could turn his prisoners over to the First Order. As the Resistance members attempted to make their escape, Kev and Xiono fled on a speeder bike while San, Yeager, and CB-23 were captured by Tagrin.[2] Tagrin brought them to Commander Pyre, but because two agents were still at large, he did not receive his credits.[3]

Tagrin was persistent to catch the spies until he discovered Kev and Xiono disguised as stormtroopers and overheard Xiono mention his shuttle parked outside the spaceport. After finding Xiono's shuttle, Tagrin broke in and used signal-tracing to locate the Colossus, which was hiding in a nearby gas giant, for the First Order to finally get his bounty which was his usual rate. In the meantime, Xiono and Kev helped Yeager and San escape and ran back to his shuttle, where Tagrin was hiding in the back. While Xiono and Kev were starting the shuttle, Tagrin revealed himself and ambushed them. He almost captured Xiono and Kev, but with the help of CB-23, they took out Tagrin and retreat from Varkana.[3]

Skills and abilities

Tagrin was a formidable bounty hunter. He was skilled in hand-to-hand combat managing to outmatch Synara San, a skilled pirate. Tagrin managed to fight both San and Yeager. Despite their combined efforts, they were unable to match Tagrin's strength and endurance.[2]

Equipment

Ax Tagrin wore custom armor, with a removable faceplate and various equipment; a C1 personal comlink, a flash grenade, and a homing beacon that can listen to conversations from far away. He also had a ship named the Dalkor Dagger. The ship was heavily fortified and had an impressive arsenal of weaponry. The ship was vulnerable from within the inside, as it has been crashed by CB-23. Tagrin used a vibro-ax with an extendable arm. He also possessed a double-barreled blaster pistol that can be wielded with two hands.
