The Aurodium Sword was a company of mercenaries active during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems,[1] fought from 22 BBY to 19 BBY.[2] Relatively new by the Clone Wars, the company was secretly headed by a defective clone Advanced Recon Commando from the Republic, Muzzle, while largely incorporating Wookiee warriors. In the war, they preferred assignments that provided security for Republic corporate members such as Raith Sienar,[1] the Chief Executive Officer of Sienar Fleet Systems.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Aurodium Sword was introduced in the current Star Wars canon via a mention in Collapse of the Republic, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Aurodium Sword was introduced in "Underworld: A Galaxy of Scum and Villainy," an article authored by Ryan Kaufman and Abel G. Peña and published in the eighty-ninth issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine[4] on August 9, 2006.[5]
