Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

In early 20 BBY, it was alleged the Galactic Republic launched an attack on the Confederacy of Independent Systems, killing many—including prominent Separatist Senator Mina Bonteri—in the process. While Republic spies instead attributed Bonteri's death to Separatist agents, Confederate Head of State Count Dooku withdrew Bonteri's proposal for peace offered by the Separatist Parliament.
