A male individual was claimed to be the brother of Arvel Skeen, a human male. Arvel told the team of rebels on Aldhani that his brother had grown pepper trees on his farm and later committed suicide after an Imperial Prefect possessed and flooded his land. Prior to the mission, the story of his brother's death was used by Arvel to explain his motivation in rebelling against the Empire.[2] After the mission, Arvel invited Cassian Andor to abandon their surviving leader, Vel Sartha, and evenly split the credits that the team had stolen. Arvel said that his actual rebellion was him against everyone else. When Andor asked about Arvel's brother, Arvel said that he did not have a brother.[3]
