Archivist Zumeg's office[2] was a room in the Temple of the Kyber in the Holy City on Jedha[1] that was the office of Archivist Zumeg.[2] In 382 BBY,[3] archivists Zumeg and Feric Oranalli visited the office along with the Jedi Vildar Mac and Matthea Cathley to check the logs of the temple's security cameras for unauthorized visitors to the temple, which they hoped would tell them the identity of who had stoledn the Firebird of Colsassa from the temple. At the same time, the former Guardian of the Whill traveled to the temple with the same idea of checking the logs, though when he arrived at the office, he discovered a bomb outside the office. As he picked up the explosive, Mac had sensed someone was present and turned to find Sirrek with the explosive. Mac then pushed the bomb from Sirrek's hand,[1] which caused it to explode and tear a hole in the wall of the temple. After the detonation of the bomb, Mac used the Force to protect the two archivists from the explosion, though Zumeg later passed away, and Mac suffered injuries.[2]
