The Anthan system was a star system located in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories,[3] in the Braxant sector.[2] It contained the planet Anthan Prime, which was orbited by many moons. The closest moon Anthan 1, orbited within the voluminous gaseous atmosphere of Anthan Prime itself, while Anthan 12, Anthan 13, and Anthan 14 were considered the mid-moons.[3]
