Antennapalps

Antennapalps, also spelled antenepalps,^[1] were the retractable antennae of the Balosar. When extended, they provided a finely tuned sensitivity to sound, extending into the subsonic range. They could also sense surges in emotion and detect danger.^[2] A Balosar could pass for a baseline Human with his or her antennapalps retracted.^[2]
