The Annecy sector was located in the Slice portion of the Expansion Region.[1] By 0 ABY, it bordered the Dona Laza sector spinward and the Mid Rim's Lantillian and Terr'skiar sectors Rimward. The sector also formed a four-way border with the Biivren sector, the Couronne sector, and the Ghost Nebula at its trailing edge.[3] The Annecy sector contained the New Raithal system,[2] which in turn shared its name with the Colonies world Raithal.[4]

Behind the scenes

The Annecy sector was established in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas.[2] The sector was depicted on a map designed by Modi and published in the 2012 StarWars.com article "Essential Atlas Extra: Expansion Region," which placed it in grid square P-9.[3]
