Anna Param was a human technician who served on board the second Death Star[2] in 4 ABY[1] during its construction over the forest moon Endor. Param heard rumors from an individual named Aklin that when Emperor Palpatine arrived to the Death Star II, his collection of Sith relics brought aboard included a powerful ring that could turn corpses into worker drones. She told this rumor to fellow technicians Lieutenant Commander Tril Jindrax, who managed to steal the ring from Palpatine's Sith acolytes in order to meet the demanding timelines imposed by Imperial high command.[2]
Param was against Jindrax's irresponsible plan, and told the lieutenant commander multiple times to stop. Eventually, her frustration mounted to a point in which she threatened to expose Jindrax's ploy to Moff Tiaan Jerjerrod or Darth Vader. In response, Jindrax gleefully called on his aggressive army of the dead to slaughter Param, then reanimated her to join them.[2]
When Jindrax lost control over the actions of the undead, Param's reanimated form focused on attacking the technician.[2]
